the woodworker |
14-07-2004 post: Jan |

General information |
The occupation of the woodworker is perhaps somewhat
trickier than other handcrafts, for example the blacksmith! However level 1 product, the
Protection cross can be sold for very good prices. The
protection cross seems to be, by the way, also the export
hit of this profession. Later, when I stand on my own like a trader, there were constantly very
good prices, over 900 for the religious object.
Who aims at a military carrier, for the good or bad, is also very well
served by the woodworker, since the woodworker, with its
later stages of development, is the only firearm supplier
in the guild!
The buildings and goods production:
1st Stage of development: In this one the woodworker can manufacture planks, an important intermediate
product also for other occupations. Number 2 is the Walking stick. This is not necessary a big deal,
however this one will give you extra 1 AP for 4 years, which is maybe not so unimportant to your style of
playing! Last but not least, the already mentioned,
Protection cross. This causes that the slimy malicious remarks at the market place are not
any longer taken seriously by anyone. Beside, it's doing very well at the local market, also a very hot item in the trade between towns.
2nd Stage of
development: Starts with obtaining 3rd Master
degree. This stage of development permits,
apart from the usual warehouse upgrade, new products to add: comb and pistol. Each criminal among us know, how difficult can be to equip "the family" with weapons. There, own pistol production comes quite handy! The
pistol can be, of course, sold as well in the remote
trade. The comb has effect on the esteem and recognition, apart from
a good selling price. Who appears well combed can influence other undecided voters and perhaps convert them to your side!
3.Expansion: Starts with 5th Master degree. The weapon crossbow is
added and as luxury object, the "staff of the nobleman".
The crossbow is a very good long-range weapon, mostly because of plethora of ammunition. Besides to do well on home market, also doing outright well in the remote trade. The "staff of
the nobleman" also improves the reputation, if is equipped. Also, you can get a good price on
the domestic market regularly. However the "staff of the nobleman"
wasn't exactly an export hit, at least not for me...

Notes to table I: |
One receives so-called of standard prices (in the
table EK) and times, if one clicks in the transportation
menu on a commodity (right) and keeps the mouse button
pressed. The standard prices are probably kind of average price, around which the market price moves. The
standard time for your product seem to refer to the apprentice worker in a minimum developed enterprise.
The effectiveness can be thus a lot higher, however conditions should remain approximately the same... also in developed
enterprises. |

Putting one and notes to table II: |
1. Stue/Tag: Expecting production of this
commodity with the apprentice worker in a basic enterprise. 2. Kos/Stue: Raw
material costs from tab I + costs
apprentice/day/Stue/Tag 3. N-price: Normal
selling price (determines with right mouse button). So this kind should be through all the native markets. 4. Gew/Stue: Piece of profit thus
n-price - Kos/Stue... 5. Gew/Tag: Gew/Stue x
Stue/Tag, thus how much profit can make one worker/day
with this product under normal conditions... 6.
FP/S: Piece of remote market price. I determined
this price manually as a remote trader. I have an everyday price, which one can obtain on the average approx.
every 3 years. The extreme prices (century prices) are
appropriate to be about 20% higher. For the
goods with one (-) I never received an offer in the
remote trade in my career! 7. FG/T: Remote
operating profit/day, like Gew/Tag only in the remote
trade
