the privileges |

If you do want to see the privileges, click on your title in upper screen next to your name. Some of them you will obtain when you start the game and some of them come with your rank increase. And others depends on your participation in city government.
Overview:
-Marriage: Here you will find possible candidates for a marriage. Right click will reveal theirs profiles, insider look, age, skills and abilities. Also will tell you if anybody else is interested. In my case, most of my selections married somebody else...oh well. Good luck to you anyway!
-Doctor-Medic: If the "Visit the
doctor (medic, physician)" option is available, use it. It's good
for your health anyway. You will need AP and the money to do
so, but if the doctor is not able to help, at least your money
will be refunded.
-Extortion/Blackmail: The extortion is not that
easy, as I did found in mine previous experience. If you want
to blackmail anybody, first you must collect an evidence. That
you can find in the study room (workroom) in residential building
of that particular person. But be very careful: with bad
evaluation of the evidence obtained, the whole thing can
backfire.
Consequences: feud, bombs, duels...
-Yours profession:
Here you can get additional profession later in the game for 8 AP. For adding
more of the Master's skills in your own profession will cost
you 4 AP. If you reached all of the 6 Master titles and you
want to make a serious money, get the Trader (Merchant)
profession. You can easy double the profit with this one. All
increases of the Master skills is done in The Study (Workroom)
of your house.
-Instill the fear: (starting with Patrician
title). If you feel bored with all the blackmailing and quiet
business matters, try this one. Be very good and successful in
your occupation, have a high rank and full combat skill.
Then everybody will back off. However, don't assume a farmer
boy will fear you...
-Insult somebody: (starting
with Patrician title) Finely! How to do well in political
career, if you have a very high combat skill. When a political
opponent appear with a very low combat skill, he almost never
challenge you to a duel. He will back-off and his or hers reputation
will take a big hit on broader front. One time a orator arrived to the duel. He froze, I shoot, result: he is
down –500 health points, I got only my ears buzzing...
Use good fighter caution, because your own health can suffer.
Some ideas how not to live to long:
good fighter insults, not returning fire, cheat the Doctor, so
he will not help anymore (9 visited) and the life will end relatively quick
...
-Accusation arises: If evidence is collected,
then one could be dragged to the court.
-Allowed
Residence: If your rank is high enough and got enough
money, of course...
-A Bodyguard: (starting with
nobleman title) One can feel a little safer.
-Two
Bodyguards: (starting with Baron title) Even better, with
good fighting skill and two bodyguards you will never (or almost
never!) be mug again.
-Divorce: (Starting with Baron title)
Doesn't need to be probably explained. If everything goes wrong, then you can divorce.
-50% Credit increase
: (starting from Nobleman) Nobody will seize your property if the account reflect "bad times". And the bank will
probably increase your credit also.
-100% Credit increase
: (starting from Count title) showing only above double volume.
-Advertisement time for marriage cut at half: (starting from Count title)
A little extra for Aristocrats! Clearly, The Earl got this a lot easier...
-Office income: If you hold position in the city council, you can get a few bucks from it. Unfortunately not very much. The highest office position will
yield only 3000.
On the other side, The Guild Master will do very well for themself. And you can easily get to the office just after couple of years
in the game time.
-Dismissal request: In order to get ahead,
particularly on regional level and an addition to secure your own position. If you do not like somebody, just
toss him out of the office... One should however always have a majority on their side, otherwise you can be the one out...You can order the dismissal only from the chamber.
-Immunity:If you got immunity, no one can accuse you. Very very nice... Immunity possess:
Sovereign, Bishop, Judge and Mayor.
-Office armchair exchange: Option for Ruler, Mayor and Bishop! Two posts can be exchanged, if both are occupied. I do not have the slightest idea what purpose this serve…
-Make a peace between two persons: As a Ruler, one must watch for the rests of members in the chamber. Therefore, everybody should be friendly to each other, and it should never come to any dismissal requests. Make a peace among obvious enemies. That can save you tons of money needed to invest into the bribery of new members, just for case!
-Build wells: Is an office privilege of the Building Master. If you hold this post, new wells can build in the building menu. If it’s possible (depended on the land development), I would build new wells in the proximity of my own houses and enterprises. Could pay off itself with the next fire!
-Build worker's houses: Is an office privilege of the Mayor. If there is a shortage of the dwellings for the workers in the city, one can build new houses as a Mayor. This is in the normal building menu, where the new option is selectable! (Thanks to sand throats)
-Start disruption between two persons: Is an office privilege of the Grand Inquisitors. Well, in order to break alliances, use this…
-Carry out apology: privilege of the Grand Inquisitors. Strictly speaking, the same as purchased "Indulgence", however the Grand Inquisitor APs (1-9) will be used instead of money.
-Reduced construction cost of buildings: for the Master Builder, costs of each construction reduced to 50%!
-Money embezzled: as the Treasurer for the city, for couple of AP you will be able to steal from town treasure.
-Counter espionage: all spies, who are sent up to spy on the player will reverse the side, with use of this privilege, and start to investigate the original client.
Applicable to Grand Inquisitor, Inquisitor, Archbishop and Prefect.
-Favorable training: as a Guild Master for particular profession, one can train a certain talent cheaper (depend on the occupation). Only 70% of the necessary AP must be invested!
Handcraft art: Guild Master for the handcraft guilds
Stealth: Prince of the thieves
Fight: Colonel, Robber Captain
Rhetoric: Bishop, Archbishop (although these are rather offices)
-Initiate miracles: the Archbishop can produce different miracles. For example: if the Madonna in the church cries blood, then the incomes of the church owner will skyrocket!
-Approve despicability: Only for the Grand Inquisitor! Discount of 50% on all actions in the backroom...
-Share leasing fees: The Lease Master receives his cut from the buildings leased by the city (mine, small forest, quarry)
-Torture deception: The Dungeon Master knows a torture is only charade. Possibly a way to deal up with the process, the Dungeon Master is willing to take a bribe from to be tortured, thus no confession!
-Masters of spying: Colonel, Prefect
-Expel workers: Privilege of the Court Councillor and the Pricy Councillor. Not a good idea if high unemployment prevails.
-Flirt: Pricy Councillor, Court Councillor and Deacon can use this privilege. if anyone finds out what it is good for, please let us know ;D
-Convert population: Bishop and Archbishop can use this privilege. Perhaps only the one advantage in whole game!
-Start inquisition: Pricy Councillor and Deacon can began a inquisition trial. Can end very badly!
-Examination: Colonel, Prefect, Inquisitor and Judges can start an investigation, in any case of problematic story!
-Laws change depending upon office! See also help in
--> the laws
The office seats are not completed, same goes for the priviledges, if you got more info visit our forum and post your findings there... Remember, this is still translation from german version of the game!
