Starting Ocupations pros/cons

This list should help any new players to chose their job.

The Blacksmith
Pros:
- Thiefs and Robbers will certanly need some of the many weapons produced by the blacksmith.
- All the "prestige increasing" items will help you in your runs for the office and your trials
Cons:
- NONE IMPORTANT NOTED

The Stonemason
Pros:
- Your children will probably always have top education because of the goods you produce.
- Some more expensive materials the Stonemason can produce will increase standigs very much.
- You can buy most of the raw materials in a quary.
Cons:
- You can never sell in another town.
- Good prices will often drop (In my experiance).


The Woodworker (The Joiner)
Pros:
- Many firearms are suplied by you. And while a blacksmith has a good supply of swords, your long-range weapons are unsurpassed.
- Using the walking stick regulary will help you gain APs faster.
Cons:
- NONE IMPORTANT NOTED

The Innkeeper (The Landlord)
Pros:
- Instead of building a few all-purpose and expensive improvements, you have a big choice of many cheap, but efficient improvements.
- You gain all your raw materials from the market-place.
- If you drink some of your beers regulary nobody will ever thinks of kidnaping you.
Cons:
- It takes some time to get the business started.

The Perfumer
Pros:
- You have more workers available for hire.
- The most basic raw materials you need are dirt cheap and just need to collected in the forest.
- Using your products will increase your standing with other officials.
Cons:
- Use of perfums can be made ilegal by the law.

The Alchemist
Pros:
- The raw materials you need are dirt cheap and just need to collected in the forest.
- Your endurance drink will help increase your skills very quickly.
- Maybe you can live very long.
Cons:
- The use of potions can be made ilegal by the law.

The Preacher
Pros:
- Every confession will provide you with bonus AP.
- Talents I and II will help you advance your skills more quickly.
- You can hold a service each year for 1 AP and gain money from donations.
- Whenever someone buys a letter of indulgence you will get a percent of the money he pays.
Cons:
- Very expensive and time consuming upgrades.

The Thief
Pros:
- You can have many employes.
- You can probably gain much money just from pick-picketing.
- Many useful upgrades.
- You can train your thieves.
Cons:
- You need a weapon supply.
